Hope everyone is having a great summer. It has certainly been a hot one and we are looking forward to cool weather!
We are gearing up for fall and I will be working on the website and getting more info on the blog shortly. We will have more varieties of fruit trees available this year which should be available around December.
Start making plans for your edible landscaping. Nothing is better for your family than fresh fruit that you grow yourself.
We also have some beautiful crape myrtles blooming. Crape myrtles add color to your landscape all summer and are low maintenance as well.
Of course we still have a great selection of shade trees, shrubs and perennials to meet your landscaping needs.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have. We are looking forward to another busy fall and winter and hope to see you soon!

A BUSY TIME OF YEAR
We had a successful three days at the plant show at PJC. Thank you to all who stopped by!
The week following a show is always busy with people coming by to see our entire selection of plants.
All of the trees and plants are coming out of dormancy and everything is turning green and there are a lot of things blooming now. The hummingbirds and butterflies are loving all the blooms.
Cliff has been busy watering and weeding, and of course doing what he enjoys best.......grafting. He has been grafting the Shell Apple and pecan trees. They should be ready to sell this fall.
Hopefully I will soon have more images and information on the website. I have found that it is a time consuming task and I have a hard time staying indoors and working when the weather is as beautiful as it has been. I'd much rather be outside digging in the dirt or sitting on the porch watching the world go by : )
Check back to see what we are up to around here. I'm hoping to get Cliff to help me with a flower bed that I want to put daylilies in............we'll see!
Have a great week!

SPRING FEVER
Apple Blossoms
Spring is definitely in the air! The weather has been beautiful and we have had many people here purchasing plants. The big seller has to be the fruit trees which are beginning to bloom.
All of our fruit trees have a low chill hour requirement which means that the trees must have a certain number of hours below 45 degrees in order to produce fruit. Every fruit tree that we carry will produce fruit year after year in our area. Since we guarantee all of our plants, we do not sell anything that will not grow and/or produce fruit in our area.
We have had many people want citrus trees. We do not carry any citrus trees because unless you have a greenhouse and can control the temperature during the winter, the citrus trees can not withstand our winters, especially when we have a really cold winter like we have just experienced. Even though we are a licensed nursery and inspected by the state of Florida we do not sell citrus because we refuse to sell anything that we do not feel is compatible with our weather. The economy is bad enough without us selling something that we feel our customers would just be throwing their money away on.
We truly appreciate all the people that have purchased plants from us and look forward to meeting your landscaping requirements in the future. We have been extremely blessed with a prosperous winter season and spring is looking even better. Thank you and may God bless you.

SPRING IS IN THE AIR
Even though it's still pretty cool around LANDSCAPE PLANTS BY CLIFF spring is definitely in the air. The birds are singing, the sun is shining, and several trees and plants are beginning to break dormancy. Hopefully we won't have a really hard freeze again to burn the new buds, but in this part of Florida it is a good possibility.
We have had a successful winter season and have sold many fruit trees. The economy today is really making people think about ways to save money and planting an orchard is a great way to do that.
All of our plants are guaranteed for one year from the date of purchase. Our reputation is based on word of mouth advertising, and we have heard from several different sources that word is getting out about us. We strive to provide excellent service and are happy to answer any questions you may have.
Come see us soon to get ready for your spring plantings.

NOW IS THE TIME TO PLANT
Now is the best time to plant your fruit trees and shade trees.
By planting now, you are giving your new trees time to establish a good root system while they are dormant. This way the tree can focus on providing nutrients to the roots before it has to also concentrate on putting out new leaves and growth as the weather warms in a few weeks.
Check out our large selection of plants.
All plants are guaranteed for one year from date of purchase.
Customer satisfaction is our best advertising!
